The event will take place from March 30 to April 2 and is expected to attract record participation, considering that 100 individuals have already expressed an interest in attending. Cyprus was chosen over Wales, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
Organisers anticipate more than 550 participants, exceeding the record number who attended the 1998 convention at Heathrow.
ARTAC Worldchoice chairman Colin Heal said the organisation decided against holding the event in Britain due to the high cost involved and a lack of hotel room availability. Cyprus Airways will transport participants to the island for the convention, to be held at the Hawaii Grand Hotel & Resort.
