The Federal State of Oregon, with an area of over 97,000 sq. miles the tenth-largest in the USA, is above all, a hot tip for vacationers who like to spend time close to nature with diverse possibilities for sport and recreation. The state in which the myth of the American West lives on to this day – a state with a coastline with rugged cliffs and long sandy beaches, with majestic mountain peaks, gentle valleys and uninhabited desert wastes. Oregon’s landmark is the imposing Mount Hood which is 12,290 ft high.

The Lufthansa flight with the flight number LH 468 will operate daily from 31 March 2003 with an Airbus A340, equipped with 247 seats. Portland is the 16th destination served by Lufthansa in the United States and the 18th in North America.
