From Tuesday 3rd April, customers wishing to book seats more than one month in advance of the flight`s departure date will only be able  to do so by buying online here at easyJet.com.

This is a change from the previous two-month advance period for telephone bookings, which was introduced in March 2000. This change to the easyJet booking policy is part of the airline`s ongoing strategy of encouraging customers to book their flights online in order to keep costs – and fares low.

So that easyJet  can continue offering great-value fares, it must constantly look at ways to reduce costs – and the Internet is by far the cheapest way to sell seats. Also, online technology will allow easyJet to accommodate the planned growth in sales without incurring a corresponding increase in costs – which means that it will be able to continue offering low fares in future.

Booking online with easyJet is simple, quick and safe, and almost eight million seats have already been sold through this web site since April 1998. Passengers will also save money by booking online, as they will continue to benefit from a £5 discount off the cost of every return fare – a higher level of permanent Internet discount than any other airline!
