With a 4% increase in accepted applications (10 weeks from show), EIBTM is set for it’s best year of business yet. EIBTM expects to see over 3,800 Hosted Buyers with serious purchasing power to attend the show this year, with research showing that 47% of Hosted Buyers attending EIBTM 2010 had annual meetings budgets of over $1m.
EIBTM has also seen a 48% increase in accepted buyers from the UK compared to this time last year. Key countries including Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Russia have seen a significant increase in accepted Hosted Buyer applications and as a result EIBTM, a Reed Travel Exhibitions Event has been working closely with Barcelona Convention Bureau, Ultramar Event Management and BCD Meetings & Incentives to ensure that each Hosted Buyer accepted is guaranteed complementary flights and 4/5 star accommodation.
Reed Travel Exhibitions have now also appointed a dedicated team in the US to provide additional support and assist with qualification and management of Hosted Buyers travelling from America.

In order to meet the growing demand for business meetings at EIBTM, an additional appointment per day will also be arranged for each accepted Buyer. As a result, EIBTM is expected to generate over 60,000 one-to-one appointments, ensuring maximum productivity and ROI is achieved.
