The Hellenic Tourism Organisation, EOT<.> is continuing its series of tourism industry inspections aimed at upgrading the quality of tourist services.A total of 553 recreational centres have been checked along with five airports, four ports, six border points, five coach depots, two archaeological sites, six organised beaches and 240 campsites. Some operators were advised on possible improvements or given a warning while lawsuits were filed in 25 cases. Checks were also made of areas where tents are commonly set up illegally.
