It seems that Athens has become a focal point for many conferences. Holding its meeting in Athens last Thursday and Friday, or February 7-8, 2001, were the senior executives of airlines based in various European Union countries.
The conference focused on air safety and economy travel and was sponsored none other than Olympic Aviation, which is a subsidiary of national carrier Olympic Airways.
