The European Sea Port Organization`s transport committee recently held a meeting in the northern city of Thessaloniki in order to discuss deregulation in maritime transportation. Committee chairman, Stavros Hatzakos, told reporters after the meeting that the at the forthcoming meetings, members would discuss a plan to forge a policy on deregulation that would then be submitted to the European Union`s executive Commission for use in drafting legislation.
