German Ameropa targets UK and the English speaking market

Ameropa, a long established and popular Germany holiday and city break specialist focused on travel around the country by rail, is expanding its reach with the launch of an English language website – www.ameropa.de/en. The move follows increasing interest by travel agencies, partners and consumers who are visiting Ameropa’s site to learn about city tours, attractions in Germany and adventure holidays.  Popular destinations include for example, the Europa-Park Rust.

The English language webpage highlights attractions such as “Top City Breaks in Germany” in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Dresden. Hotel accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, together with rail connections can easily be booked on line and documents printed out at home via travellers’ own PC.

Martin Katz, Chairman of Ameropa said: “We have observed that an increasing number of English-speaking guests are visiting our website. This is due, above all, to that fact that now, in our more than 55-year history, Ameropa is regarded as a reliable supplier of German destinations. Some visitors reach us via the online network of Deutsche Bahn. Others also come directly to us."

The English Ameropa site currently lists the 12 most popular city destinations in Germany, briefly describes the most important sights and then directs the visitor via link to the offer of hotels at the destination. The Ameropa webpage is gradually being linked with the English language sites of Deutsche Bahn abroad. Ameropa is the tourist specialist of Deutsche Bahn.
