Harmony Cruises launches mega yacht

Greek firm Harmony Cruises<.> recently launched its first mega yacht, the 4.2-million drachma Harmony G<.>, at the Vouliagmeni marina in southern Athens.



The company is part-owned by Gina Mamidaki, head of the Mamidakis hotel group which has units on Crete and Rhodes, and Lakis Venetopoulos, head of Zeus Cruises and Galileo Cruises which specialise in cruises in the Aegean, Ionian and to the Dodecanese islands.



The Harmony G caters to 44 passengers in 18 luxuriously-appointed cabins and four suites, some equipped with a jacuzzi. All have a TV, video recorder, safe, mini bar, stereo and phone.



The company has ordered a second such vessel, the 75m Harmony A, which is scheduled for delivery by May 2002.
