Travellers heading to the Cyclades<.> in the height of summer should find it easier to secure a seat on a Highspeed catamaran this year.

Minoan<.> Flying Dolphins has decided to provide double the number of services undertaken by its three new Highspeed catamarans to the popular island group from the end of July through August.

Highspeed 2, which can carry 625 passengers and 75 vehicles, will sail to the western Cyclades every day except Tuesdays. It will depart from Piraeus at 07.45 for Serifos-Sifnos-Milos and return at 15.15. The second sailing is at 17.30 and will head for Syros-Mykonos then return at 23.30.

Sister craft Highspeed 3 will leave every day except Wednesdays from Rafina for Tinos-Mykonos at 07.45. It will return at 12.30 before leaving again at 13.15, this time for Andros-Tinos-Mykonos. It will return at 16.30 before heading back to Rafina, from where it will leave for Tinos-Mykonos at 17.00 then finally returning at 23.30.

Highspeed 4, which can carry 1,000 passengers and 200 vehicles, will begin operating on June 30. It will leave from Piraeus at 07.30 for Paros-Naxos and return at 14.00 before departing again at 16.45 for the same destinations and coming back at 23.30.
