Iberia<.> and TAP<.> Air Portugal are establishing a bilateral co-operation, effective as of next June. This co-operation will provide Customers with a significant increase in options and very flexible and convenient flight schedules along with the possibility for their Frequent Flyers of accumulating miles on each other`s

Networks.

In order to achieve such a bilateral co-operation, Iberia and TAP will carry out together different specific agreements in several areas, which include the code-share operation, interline connectivity, and mutual recognition of Frequent Flyer Programs.

The co-operation will provide the Customer with a choice of 10 daily frequencies between Madrid and Lisbon to be code-shared with coverage throughout the day. Flight departures are continuous and operate according to convenient schedules, thus allowing greater flexibility and a wide range of beyond connections onto the networks of both Companies, thereby fully responding to the needs of the travelling public.

Besides Lisbon-Madrid, Lisbon-Barcelona, Porto-Madrid and Porto-Barcelona, further routes and destinations will also be served in code-share – 21 in the whole – both Domestic and European: Faro and Funchal in Portugal; Palma de Maiorca, Ibiza, Alicante, Malaga, Bilbao, Valencia, Tenerife and Las Palmas in Spain, and Vienna, Venice, Athens, Istanbul, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille, Nice and Toulouse all in Europe.

Along with the new and diversified travel options, the carriers are now able to offer extra convenience on the combined itineraries, by means of interlining of passengers and baggage to each other`s network. Moreover Iberia and TAP Customers will benefit from the advantage of accruing and rewarding miles on the partner`s network.

From June on, both airlines will also ensure Customers maximum convenience and comfort as far as check-in and embarking are concerned, not only for flights between Portugal and Spain but also for destinations beyond, as a result of their systems being electronically linked.
