Traffic- measured in revenue passenger-kilometre (RPK) – went up 9.5% compared to the previous year, against a capacity increase of 5.5%. The number of passengers increased by 6.5%, reaching 2.5 million, of which 1.1 million corresponded to international routes (+6.6%) and 1.4 million to domestic flights (+6.4%).

Traffic maintained the good performance of the previous months, growing by 10.4% and continuing the improvement of the mix.

Mid Atlantic traffic grew by 18%, while capacity increased by 14%. Traffic rose by more than 20% in flights to Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama and Mexico. In the international medium haul, traffic grew by 8.8% against a capacity increase of 0.7%. In Africa and Middle East, traffic went up 19.8% and capacity increased by 14.9%.
