With the success in the current season in Milan and the traffic slowly promising to pick up the India Tourism Milan has now focused itself on the Greek Market which had not been serviced for a long time. The India Tourism Milan mounted a successful event in Greece in collaboration with the Embassy of India and the Minicipal Authorities in Athens from the 22nd October to the 31th October to coincide with the most important tourism fair namely the Philoxenia Fair in Thessaloniki to focus on the Destination India.



The India Event in Athens and the participation in the Philoxenia Fain in Thessaloniki is an indication of positive trends of growth of traffic from this region which had remained static in the past years. The new Director of the India Tourism Milan Mr. Raj Vir Mittal was very confident to have a ten percent for certain growth for certain from this region despite the air connectivity and the air seat capacity.
