Kuoni’s annual report wins silver at the BCP Awards in Berlin

The 2008 Kuoni annual report has been recognized by the European "BCP Best of Corporate Publishing" awards held in Berlin at the end of June 2009. As a top 5 nominee in the "Specials and Annuals" category, the new-look report received the "Best of Corporate Publishing 2009" Silver Award.
Kuoni’s 2008 annual report was rethought and redesigned last year as part of the Group’s rebranding process. The aim was to produce an appealing, high quality report that inspires the reader and reflects the company’s strategy in terms of both content and visual impact. Following a complete redesign, the 2008 edition consists of three parts – Brand Report, Market Report and Financial Report – each firmly focused on Kuoni’s corporate values of Reliability, Authenticity and Passion. All three parts are presented in a slipcase designed to reflect Kuoni’s Perfect Moments core value. The new Brand Report contains a magazine-style review of last year’s brand transformation process, and in the chapter "Manifesto for a new travel culture", Kuoni looks into the future of the travel industry.
The report was conceived and designed by Buroecco Kommunikationsdesign GmbH of Augsburg (Germany) and Remo Masala, Kuoni Group’s Director of Corporate Branding & Marketing.
BCP is Europe’s biggest corporate publishing competition, with more than 600 publications submitted per year. The BCP Best of Corporate Publishing prizes have been awarded since 2003 to the best corporate publications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The competition is organized by Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP) together with the leading industry magazines acquisa, Horizont, w&v and Switzerland’s Werbewoche.
