Publisher of the definitive print and online directory of commercially licensed charter aircraft in the US and some 120 countries world wide, Cambridge-based Air Charter Guide (www.aircharterguide.com) said in early December that London Executive Aviation (LEA<.>) has become a licensee of the CharterX online reservation system.

On this note and effective immediately, LEA, which has evolved into one of the largest business aircraft charter operator in the UK, with a fleet that includes Beechcraft KingAir 200s, Citation IIs and a Citation Excel C560XL, is offering quotes directly to travelers through its own web site, and to a worldwide network of charter brokers and operators through Air Charter Guide`s CharterX

Network, a web-based booking engine and provider network that makes pricing and booking all types of charter aircraft on the Internet as easy as booking a seat on a commercial flight.

With the aim to become the first European and first British company to offer such sophisticated online quoting and booking engine, George Galanopoulos, president of LEA – based in Stapleford, London Stansted, Biggin Hill and Leeds Bradford Airport in the North of England – said that his company has always been committed to first class customer service and this includes implementing technology enabling customers to receive instant quotes.

LEA officials noted the CharterX system allows them to identify qualified new prospects instantly, and provides unparalleled web distribution of the company`s service offerings. Increased quotation and booking activity were evident within the first few days of deploying the system.

CharterX`s system is rapidly becoming a de facto standard in the air charter industry with licensees that include TAG Aviation, Raytheon Aircraft Charter Services, Executive Jet Charters, and other large and small charter operators throughout the world. The firm, according to officials has allowed a European company to build a true continental and global reservation network for charter services such as the scheduled carriers have enjoyed since the seventies.
