Lufthansa guarantees operation in Greece

After Lufthansa<.> has cancelled all flights out of Athens on Friday, because of the bad weather, on Saturday the company planed full operations carrying 8,000 litres of de-icing liquid on board of Lufthansa planes from Frankfurt and Munich.



`We will carry 4,000 litres of de-icing liquid per flight, in order to guarantee operation, provided Athens International Airport will be open. This amount has to be mixed with water. About 400-500 liters of kill-frost will be needed for every plane, so we will be able to serve all our planes today`, stated on Saturday Mr Geiger Manager Airport Services Greece Cyprus and Israel.



In case this bad weather situation will continue, further material will be carried in, announced Lufthansa.
