Mr. Ales Krejci said that by the early-bird deadline on June 30 as much as 75 % of MADI 99 floor space was sold out. The organizer rented one more hall for the MADI 2000 because either record exhibition space or number of exhibitors over 500 is foreseen. As regards the new sector of the fair, the MADI Fitness & Spas, over 20 exhibitors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary already applied for. Except the Czech companies the offer of Mediterranean countries will dominate at the MADI fair again.
Exhibitors from overseas countries like Maldives, Indonesia, Vietnam (for the first time), Sri Lanka and South Africa will participate, too. Presentation of 8 national members of the International Youth Hostel Federation at the MADI 2000 is unique phenomenon in the travel fairs in Central-Eastern Europe.
Already 3rd annual of the sector MADI Regions will present Czech regions and cities in successful workshop on the Day of regions (Nov 8). Extensive accompanying programme in the conference area of the fair as well as hosted buyers programme is prepared.
