Monarch Airlines selects Revenue Management Systems

Revenue Management Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Monarch Airlines to provide state-of-the-art revenue management, inventory control, and reporting tools. Monarch will use airRM, the innovative revenue management software developed by RMS, Inc., to help identify sales opportunities and maximize passenger revenues. The software will also enable the airline to closely control pricing and analyze performance through a suite of features.

Martin Gibbings, Head of Revenue Management at Monarch Airlines, said, “Monarch’s Airlines’ direct seat only business has grown steadily over the past few years and is continuing to grow. The airline is delighted therefore to have elected to use airRM software, which will present our business with a great opportunity to further improve on the revenue management fundamentals already firmly in place. Increased user functionality, new forecasting tools and third party data feeds will also provide long term software support, which is key for the success of an airline in the UK low fares industry.”

“We are excited to announce Monarch’s decision to choose airRM as its revenue management system. airRM is much more than a traditional revenue management system. It brings together into a single decision support tool the critical information necessary to understand individual consumer behavior (reservation system data (including PNR level data), competitive fare data, web analytics data, competitive schedules and tour operator detail). It then combines this with access to real time reservation system information to give its users the ability to intelligently identify and capture every revenue opportunity,” said Scott Schade, CEO/CTO of RMS, Inc.
