Monarch gets set for summer in Ibiza

Award winning low fares airline Monarch is gearing up for another busy summer season in Ibiza with flights to the White Isle launching this Thursday, 21 May 09, with schedules operating as below until 05 October 2009:

– London Gatwick – 5 flights per week (Thursday, Friday x 2 flights, Saturday and Sunday)
– Manchester – 5 flights per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday x 2 flights and Sunday)
– Birmingham – 4 flights per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Despite its lively image, Ibiza also offers a wealth of charming holiday resorts, breathtaking scenery and a stunning coast line with over 60 tranquil beaches offering long sandy shorelines and rocky bays, making it the perfect get-away for couples and families alike. The resorts of Santa Eulalia, Es Cana and Cala Longa on the East of the Island provide the perfect base for a relaxing stay with a range of accommodation options available.

Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Cyprus from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports. In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals onboard with prices from £3.00. To avoid a last minute free-for-all when boarding, seats can be pre-booked at £7.50 per one-way flight, or from only £15, extra-legroom seats are available, which offer up to six inches of extra space.

Passengers travelling on scheduled flights can also avoid the queues at the airport and take advantage of online check-in which is available between seven days and 4.5 hours prior to departure.

In addition to flights, Monarch also now offers a huge range of great value holidays, accommodation options, car hire and travel insurance.
