The members of the Interessengemeinschaft pro Gesamtarbeitsvertrag association have approved by a clear majority the proposed new Collective Labour Agreement for the pilots of Swiss European Air Lines. As a result, the new accord will enter into effect on July 1.
In agreeing their new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA), Swiss European and its pilots have laid a common forward-looking foundation for their future collaboration. The new CLA pays due regard to the intensified competitive environment, while also offering more attractive terms of employment. The accord includes further improvements on the present individual contracts of employment in salary, workhours, vacation and company pension scheme terms.
The new CLA and the forward-looking social partnership behind it give us a sound basis for Swiss European`s sustainable future growth, says Antonio Schulthess, Head of SWISS Human Resources. And we are delighted that our Swiss European pilots have voted to accept it.
The new CLA for the members of the Interessengemeinschaft pro Gesamtarbeitsvertrag association will be valid for three years. The new accord is open to all pilots of Swiss European.
