Hertz<.> has opened for business at London Luton Airport after being awarded a car hire concession.

The new location will offer passengers and local people the high quality vehicles, competitive prices and leading-edge services that Hertz customers worldwide have come to expect, including #1 Club Gold, the expedited car rental service for frequent renters.

The opening is great news for all people travelling through the airport and in particular for those flying with airlines that are Hertz partners, such as Ryanair, who will benefit from a host of special offers and promotions.

Meanwhile, Orbis Transport Ltd, the Hertz franchisee based in Poland, has introduced Hertz #1 Club Gold to its Cracow Balice Airport location. This addition increases the number of Gold locations in Central and Eastern Europe to four, including Budapest Airport in Hungary, Prague Airport in the Czech Republic, and Warsaw Airport in Poland.

Hertz #1 Club Gold customers visiting any of these locations can use their membership to book and fulfil Gold rentals, expecting all the usual benefits associated with the loyalty scheme.

And Rienhoff GmbH, the Hertz rent-a-car franchisee for Austria since 1982, has established an equipment rental company, Rienhoff Baumaschinen GmbH, to operate under the Hertz name, thus becoming the seventh Hertz car rental franchisee to branch into equipment rental in the Europe, Africa, Middle East Division.
