New landing guidance system at Macedonia airport

The Macedonia<.> Airport in Thessaloniki – Greece, will in May welcome a new radar landing guidance system, according to Transport and Communications Minister Christos Verelis. The new system is set to guide planes in adverse weather conditions since flights at the airport are often cancelled due to fog. The government, has already tested the new radar landing system, which has been operating on a trial basis for three months.
