Introducing the modern Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft, US Airways<.>, which serves the European destinations of London, Frankfurt and Paris from its hubs in Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, on January 18th, 2001 navigated the new aircraft`s first flight between Charlotte, North Carolina, and London`s Gatwick Airport.



The 266-seat A330 is the largest and most modern aircraft in the US Airways fleet, and is the only aircraft operated by a US carrier with the Passport(TM) Audio and Video On Demand personal entertainment system at every seat. Every passenger has a laptop computer power supply and a telephone. The A330 also has roomy overhead storage space and greater cargo capacity than most other transatlantic widebody aircraft.



On the A330, US Airways offers international First Class featuring gourmet meals, premium wines, luxurious amenities and electrically powered fully adjustable seats that recline 180 degrees into a bed. Six seats in a 2-2-2 configuration create an exclusive setting with maximum comfort.
