The Travel Media Applications company (www.tma.gr) is organizing a two-day seminar entitled “Everything you needed to know to start selling on the Web” between March 12-13, 2001 at the Metropolitan Hotel, Athens, Greece. Paul Richer, ÌÂÁ, will be the main speaker followed by Marianna Sigala, MSc.
Paul Richer, one of the founders of the Genesys group of business consultants, (www.genesys.net), is highly skilled on issues concerning Internet development tactics as well as has an extensive background and sound knowledge of the innovative society as well as the global electronic tourism industry.
He has conducted selective reports for the World Tourism Organization, who he has worked closely with over the years through various international conferences and/or seminars and lectures all over the world, concerning the areas of electronic marketing. Most recently he was the chief speaker in a series of seminars concerning `e-Travel` at the international travel trade fair, “World Travel Market”.
Mariana Sigala, who is currrently mastering her PhD at the Surrey University in England with the subject “Investigating the relationship between the use of Information Technology and productivity in the hotel industry”, is already a holder of a MSc in Tourism Management from the very same university. She has been a guest speaker at various seminars all around the globe such as the IH&RA, CHIPR, CHRIE the electronic world trade show ENTER and in Greece she has spoken at international tourism conventions at the Aegaio University and ÉÔÅP.
