Test run of new airport

The new Athens international airport at Spata<.>, eastern Attica was put through a trial run last week with a flight aimed at testing the facility`s air control and landing procedures.

Public Works Minister Costas Laliotis oversaw the procedure, which took around 20 minutes, and was accompanied by Transport Minister Christos Verelis, airport management and officials from the Civil Aviation Authority.
