The International Association Market visits Fibes and its new conference centre

From 20th to 22nd September, Fibes and Seville Congress & Convention Bureau have jointly organised a Familiarisation Trip aimed at a group of big congress decision makers of the International Association Market who could experience Seville as a Congress and Meeting destination.

The familiarisation trip had a programme with many types of activities, such as a visit and presentation at Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre for more than 20 professional agents from big international societies and several local prescribers and ambassadors.  This visit has been organised for the same dates as the first big congress held at Fibes New Conference Centre.

The visit and presentation took place during the XIX Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology Congress, CILAD 2012, with over 4,500 attendants, so that the group of decision makers could have a first-hand insight of the perfect development of a relevant, massively attended congress.

The visitors could know Seville New Conference Centre during this Familiarisation Trip which is one of the many commercial actions carried out in order to attract big events in the field of congresses and promote the new building which opened its path last week hosting its first event.

The group visited Seville New Conference Centre, getting to know one of its outstanding components, FIBES Auditorium, which will hold up to 3,557 people in its top version. The new building also has large, well-lit areas and it features multiuse rooms and zones, the originality of the project being a highlight with the ramp, indoor and outdoor exhibition areas, which make of it one of the best buildings to host all kind of great events in the country.

The group of decision makers showed their admiration to the new facilities and premises and they praised the high number of new possibilities that the New Auditorium has brought about to host meetings of their sector.  Nevertheless, they also pointed out the excellent, versatile facilities offered by FIBES at present as they also provide a wide range of possibilities for future meetings and conferences.

The activity programme also included visiting other places in the city, such as: Metropol Parasol, the Museum of Flamenco Dance, the Royal Palace, Casa de Salinas, the Navigation Pavilion and a show with the programme of Seville Bienal de Flamenco.

The following companies and institutions help in making up the programme:  Hotel Silken Al-Andalus Palace, Casa Robles Restaurant,  La Raza Restaurant, Abades Triana Restaurant, Casal Coaches, Guidetur, Hotel TRH Alcora, Hotel Meliá Sevilla, Pinapark, Hacienda San Miguel de Montelirio, Gastrosol and ICAS.
