Three Presidential decrees modernize Hellenic tourism

Three Presidential decrees were recently signed by the relevant Ministers in regards with the reorganization and modernization of the tourism sector.

The upgrades which are to be enforced in all sectors affecting tourism, generally refer to establishing a General Secretary on Tourism at the Ministry of Development, organizing the services of the Hellenic Tourism Organization (HTO<.>) and, transferring certain responsibilities of HTO to the Ministry of Development as well as to the different coinciding districts.



The major objective of these decrees is to allow the tourism sector to function more efficiently in the ever-growing contemporary needs in this market.
