Uniglobe Travel International Limited Partnership has launched a new worldwide Uniglobe Faresearch program using technology provided by eGlobalfares, LLC.
eGlobalfares is an innovative, end-to-end airfare management solution for travel management companies (TMCs) and corporations worldwide. Uniglobe Faresearch is its own proprietary ‘ecosystem’, giving TMCs greater access to market-specific airfares, special UNIGLOBE vendor relationships, non-published fares and Low Cost Carrier content – all in one portal. Robust Faresearch capabilities also synchronize data and reporting to enable more UNIGLOBE TMCs to collaborate on business travel accounts.
Amanda Close, Uniglobe Travel Vice President of Global Operations, says that after reviewing various travel management technology providers, Uniglobe determined that eGlobalfares was the most cost-efficient, configurable, flexible and comprehensive solution for its locations in more than 50 countries. “In the midst of downward pressure on travel budgets, this fully customizable tool allows our TMCs to source significant savings for clients through access to published and non-published fares, consolidator fares and foreign point-of-sale fares from fellow UNIGLOBE agencies, and even process payments in local currencies,” says Close. “The new UNIGLOBE Faresearch program also enables TMCs to develop unique, highly secure platforms through which to collaborate on multinational corporate travel accounts.”
