Having postponed the decision as long as possible Virgin Express will increase the fuel surcharge by €2 per passenger for all reservations as from 15th July 2005 due to the continuous rise in fuel prices to historic heights, bringing it to a total of €10 per passenger. The previous surcharge increase dates from October 2004.
Customers booking before Friday will only have to pay €8 fuel surcharge.
This surcharge increase will be discontinued as soon as the price of crude oil returns to USD 50 per barrel for 30 consecutive days.
