Wizz Air would further expand its route network from Poland by launching new flights from Wroclaw. The news comes shortly after the airline revealed its plans to establish its 7th operating base in Poznan as of early 2008. The new flights to London-Luton and Doncaster/Sheffield would start in February 2008.

Initially, the flights between London and Wroclaw will be operated 5 times per week, while the Doncaster/Sheffield service will be run twice weekly.

Our expansion from Wroclaw falls in line with our development plans for Poland. The recent announcements of new routes, new bases and new aircraft underline Wizz Air’s commitment to Poland, said József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air.
