In a recent edition of its newsletter, the World Tourism Organisation (WTO), congratulated the Malta Tourism Authority for “being the first to efficiently use the WTO Tourism Enriches Campaign”.
The campaign was launched by the WTO earlier on this year in Madrid as part of its global tourism awareness efforts.
The MTA was the first tourism organisation worldwide to endorse the WTO`s `Tourism Enriches` campaign, when it used it as the theme for its photographic competition, organised to celebrate World Tourism Day this year. The best entries will be included in an exhibition which will be inaugurated by Minister for Tourism and Culture Dr Francis Zammit Dimech on World Tourism Day, 27th September 2004.
