EVA increasing Seattle flights from daily to 10 weekly

Monday, Thursday, Saturday schedule introduces daytime service.

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – EVA Air is increasing Seattle service from its current daily flights to 10 weekly by adding morning arrivals and departures, starting November 19, 2016. The new Monday, Thursday and Saturday flights arrive in Taipei in late afternoon, in time for a dinner meeting or an easy nighttime connection to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila or Saigon. The return flight lands in Seattle in the morning, early enough to put in a full day of work or travel onward to destinations throughout the United States or Canada. Travelers can book EVA’s new daytime flights now through travel agents, the airline’s ticket offices and on its website at evaair.com.

The daytime service will make flying to and from Asia more convenient for both business and leisure travelers and allow greater itinerary flexibility. EVA Air flight BR023 will depart Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) at 11:30 am (11:30) and arrive at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), just outside of Taipei, at 4:30 pm (16:30) the next day.  Return flight BR024 will leave TPE at 11:50 am (11:50) and land in SEA at 6:20 am (06:20) the same day.

Along with the added flights and daytime schedule in Seattle, EVA is introducing morning arrivals and midday departures in New York and will be operating two flights a day to/from Taipei by October 3. It has adjusted its Los Angeles schedule so that one of the three daily flights on the route now arrives in the early morning and departs midday. At the same time, it is increasing frequencies on routes within Southeast Asia, boosting the number of easy onward connections from North America via Taipei to 128 a week by year-end. Among current routes, it is adding more flights to Manila and Saigon.

In addition, EVA is increasing Houston – Taipei frequency from the current six flights a week to daily service on October 3.  And it’s launching a Chicago route with four flights a week, starting November 3. The increased frequencies, adjusted Los Angeles schedule and Chicago launch will give EVA a schedule that is even more convenient and offers North America travelers more choices and easier access throughout Asia to markets, financial centers and manufacturing hubs, in addition to popular tourism destinations.

From current gateways in Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver, EVA already offers more flights and seats between North America and Taiwan with more one-stop connections to more destinations throughout Asia and Mainland China than any other airline.
