After just half a year as Area Manager at Zleep Hotels, Sanne Faergsted is transferred to the sister organization, Core Hospitality.
New profile has been appointed General Manager at Quality Airport Hotel Dan in Copenhagen. The operations of the 240-room hotel were taken over by Core Hospitality on May 1st. The experienced Sanne Faergsted has been hired as General Manager of the property. Meanwhile, a new Revenue Manager has also been hired to Core Hospitality, who will primarily focus on the hotel in Copenhagen.
Moved from sister company
After just half a year as Area Manager at Zleep Hotels, Sanne Faergsted is transferred to the sister organization, Core Hospitality. It was agreed that her competences were better suited in the role as General Manager. Sanne has a solid background in and understanding of the entire business, which is an important skillset for any General Manager. In addition to her time at Zleep Hotels, Sanne has many years’ experience in the service industry from other well-known companies.
“I am very happy to lead a hotel with so many opportunities and in such exciting times that the hotel industry in Copenhagen is experiencing. It is a well-functioning hotel with dedicated colleagues, giving me a strong foundation to build upon. I look very much forward to improve the hotel further and strengthen the operations in cooperation with the team,” says Sanne Faergsted, General Manager at Quality Airport Hotel Dan.
A need for strong profiles
Core Hospitality is a third-party operator of hotels and has a franchise agreement with Quality Hotels for the property near Copenhagen Airport. "In her new role, Sanne will be a strong sparring partner and colleague for Core Hospitality’s service office, and she will become an important asset for the development of the hotel. Core Hospitality is expanding rapidly in the Nordics, creating a need for strong and independent profiles at the hotels," explains Per Denker Sorensen, COO of Core Hospitality: “It was great having Sanne as a colleague at Zleep, and now we are very pleased to have her as a colleague at Core. She is very enterprising and knows how to work with concepts. We do not doubt that Quality Airport Hotel Dan has a bright future with Sanne at the lead. Core Hospitality has been active for less than a year, but already we have two operational hotels and another two on the way, so we need more leaders in the near future.”
Focus on continuous price optimization
A new Revenue Manager has also been hired at Core Hospitality. Catharina d’Ambrosio will primarily be focusing on optimizing the rates of the Quality Airport Hotel Dan property. She has many years’ experience from the hotel industry, among others is Nordic Choice, meaning she is already familiar with the Quality brand and systems.
