Experient launches SWAP 2.5

New mobile technology captures leads from QR codes

FREDERICK – Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, announced its upgraded SWAP 2.5 app for smartphones. SWAP now allows show exhibitors the ability to easily and reliably read a QR code on an attendee’s badge. This QR code reader is an upgrade to traditional methods of scanning barcodes and entering badge ID numbers, although both remain as backup features.

According to Mike Godsey, Experient’s SVP, Market Development, “SWAP 2.5 is a major milestone for Experient, our clients and all involved. A primary reason for exhibiting at a show is to gather sales opportunities, or leads. Now that’s easier than ever before, which enhances the bottom-line value for the exhibitor, the show organizer and ultimately the attendee.”

SWAP has reinvented the lead retrieval process for exhibitors. With the SWAP app, exhibitor sales staff can capture leads on their smartphones, on and off the show floor. Exhibitors who use SWAP average 30% more leads than those who don’t, due mainly to the opportunity for multiple points of collection.
