Explore SAS’s new cabin using Google Street View

The materials and color scheme of the new cabin have been carefully chosen to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

SAS is the first airline in Europe to offer a virtual tour onboard a long-haul aircraft, letting users experience what it is like to travel in SAS’s upgraded cabin.

SAS now lets you explore its refurbished long-haul aircraft using Google Street View. Take a virtual tour onboard an SAS long-haul plane and inspect the new cabin interior that was launched in February. Take a stroll through the different service classes of SAS Go, Plus, and Business, and have a look at the aircraft seats, the in-flight entertainment system, and the rest of the interior, such as the galley and even the toilets.

“Our new upgraded long-haul cabin has attracted a great deal of attention for its design and functionality from both customers and the media. We are constantly striving to create new and innovative digital solutions for our customers, so we are very proud that SAS is the first airline in Europe to let everyone see what it is like to travel with SAS using Google Street View,” says Stefan Hedelius, VP Brand & Marketing at SAS.

The materials and color scheme of the new cabin have been carefully chosen to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The seats in SAS Go and SAS Plus are designed to provide good storage and create extra space. All seats in SAS Business have direct access to the aisle and can be fully reclined into a bed position. The beds feature linen from Hästens, Sweden’s oldest bed-maker, giving passengers a superior sleep experience. There is a new in-flight entertainment system throughout the cabin, offering HD screens and wireless Internet access. You can see all this here.

Using Google Street View, you can explore landmarks and places all over the world, now including the new SAS cabin.
