First B2B travel PR consultancy launched

Belvera Partners is the first full-service, global public relations consultancy to focus solely on B2B travel sector. Consultancy engages all the stakeholders that are not the end traveller, including tech partners, regulators, investors and employees. 

PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN – Yesterday was the official launch of Belvera Partners, the first ever full-service, global public relations consultancy focused solely on the vitally important B2B section of the travel industry.

Belvera Partners has been established to help B2B travel organisations engage with all the stakeholders that are not the end traveller, including not only B2B clients but also technology partners, content suppliers, investors, regulators, employees, unions and analysts.

The consultancy will work globally with travel technology providers, TMCs, MICE, travel agency consortia, DMCs, airport ground handlers, shoreside cruise services and more – as well as B2C travel organisations who need to engage with travel trade audiences.

The founder of the business is Roman Townsend, who until February of this year was the Director of Media Relations & Corporate Affairs at Hotelbeds. Roman’s prior travel industry experience includes senior communications roles at both Spanish airline Vueling and Amadeus.

To support clients Belvera Partners will work with an Affiliate Network of the B2B travel industry’s best professionals, including independent research analysts, creative + brand consultants, and other disciplines.

Roman Townsend, Managing Director of Belvera Partners comments: “What’s the biggest communications mistake commonly made in travel? Assuming that all audiences are the end traveller. What about all the other stakeholders who can make or break your business? And what about if the end traveller isn’t your actual client?

“Finding external public relations consultants who understood this was a challenge I faced whilst working at B2B companies like Amadeus and Hotelbeds – so I´ve founded Belvera Partners to respond to what I see as a very important and urgent need.

Belvera Partners was incorporated in late February and has already begun to work with several clients based in Spain, North America and Asia Pacific.

The office and core team of the company will be based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain – the home of European tourism and head office to some of travel’s biggest brands.

Shortly Belvera Partners will begin to publish a series of research studies on relevant B2B travel communications topics. The first study will be published in May and looks at sustainability in the B2B travel sector.
