Before joining Fraport USA,Brett Kelly served as a vice president with General Growth Properties, one of the largest retail development companies in the country.
PITTSBURGH – Fraport USA is expanding its executive team with the promotion of Brett Kelly to the new role of senior vice president of operations, effective April 1, 2019. Since 2011, Mr. Kelly has served as vice president of the company’s Fraport Maryland group. In this position, he led the award-winning concessions program at Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) – overseeing the leasing, construction, marketing and management of nearly 120,000 square-feet of concessions space. Recently, he also led the transition of Fraport USA’s new concessions development program launched at Nashville International Airport (BNA) in February 2019.

Mr. Kelly’s notable achievements at BWI Marshall Airport include building industry-leading Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) programs, along with the successful launch of Fraport USA’s innovative LaunchPad pilot program for start-ups and entrepreneurs. His dedicated work has been recognized by elected officials, the Urban League and other community organizations, and he is a frequent guest speaker on these topics at industry events.
Before joining Fraport USA, Mr. Kelly served as a vice president with General Growth Properties, one of the largest retail development companies in the country, where he held leadership positions in the areas of leasing, asset management, operations and marketing.
Mr. Kelly holds an MBA from Western Governors University and earned the Certified Leasing Specialist designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is Six Sigma Green Belt certified and also served six years in the United States Marines.
