Germania increases connections from Dresden, Nuremberg and Munster/Osnabruck in Summer 2017

In order to meet the needs of the increased frequencies and additional routes, Germania will be stationing a second aircraft in each of the three departure airports next summer.

BERLIN – Summer 2017 is set to flourish! Next year, Berlin-based airline Germania will increase the number of flights it offers from Dresden, Nuremberg and Munster/Osnabruck. More flights will be offered from all three destinations, and new connections to established destinations in the sun will be added. Travellers will also benefit from even better departure times.

Holiday makers from Nuremberg will be able to fly twice a week, non stop to two new destinations: Faro and Dalaman. Also included in the flight schedule are daily connections to Majorca and flights to Ibiza, Rhodes, Hurghada and Paphos, as well as connections to Samos and Reykjavik/Keflavik.

From Dresden and Munster/Osnabruck the number of weekly flights to Majorca will increase to 10. Faro will also be accessible from both airports. For the first time there will be flights from Dresden to Reykjavik/Keflavik in Iceland, while two flights a week will be introduced from Munster/Osnabruck to Malaga. Both airports will also see an increase in flights to the Greek islands in Summer 2017.

In order to meet the needs of the increased frequencies and additional routes, Germania will be stationing a second aircraft in each of the three departure airports next summer.

Karsten Balke, Germania’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), explains: “By adding new routes and positioning a second aeroplane at each of these three airports, we are strengthening Germania’s presence in the regions. From next summer, we are delighted to be able to offer our passengers an even greater number of interesting destinations and connections, combined with the standards of comfort and quality for which we are known.”

All connections can be booked with immediate effect. In addition, Germania will maintain all its existing summer routes in Summer 2017, and will be adding flights which will become available to book over the next few weeks.
