Gett and Carey International announce strategic partnership

The partnership will see Gett and Carey International cooperatively develop integrated solutions for business travelers across many different intersecting avenues of each other’s operating models – including service offerings, sales, reporting and technology.

LONDON – Gett, the global leader in corporate on-demand transportation, and Carey International, the worldwide leader in chauffeured services and transportation logistics management, announced today a strategic partnership to provide complete ground transportation solutions for business travelers across the globe.

The partnership will see Gett and Carey International cooperatively develop integrated solutions for business travelers across many different intersecting avenues of each other's operating models – including service offerings, sales, reporting and technology. The goal is to create a single, consolidated platform that fulfills the entire spectrum of ground transportation needs for managed travel programs.

This partnership between Carey International, a leading traditional ground transportation provider and Gett, a leading technology enabled ride-hailing company marks the first of its kind within the greater travel industry.

"Gett and Carey International are perfect examples of how transportation can be disrupted through innovation and quality of service," said Dave Waiser, Gett's founder and CEO. "Together, we will offer the very best transportation service globally, making Gett and Carey the only choice for quality-conscious businesses."

"Working together with Gett represents a major step in fortifying Carey International's strategy to provide more ways for business travelers to use our services, and will, hopefully, inspire other ground transportation providers to work together for the benefit of managed travel programs," said Gary L. Kessler, President and CEO of Carey International. "This partnership will allow Carey International and Gett to offer solutions for more traveler use occasions in more places than ever before, and, ultimately, will provide managed travel programs with a single platform from which to manage the majority of their ground transportation needs."

The initial effort will be to expand Gett's global footprint by offering Gett's existing travelers access to professional, standards-based transportation in more than 1000 cities worldwide, through Carey International's exclusive Global Franchise Network, and to introduce Gett's cutting-edge on-demand transportation solutions to Carey International's clients in more than 100 cities in the United States and European Union.
