Added this year are a five-day coed week, December 18-23, with a mountain exploration and hiking on Golden Doors private trails, and a five-day women's week, December 27 – January 1, where in-house astrologist will start 2017 with the insight guests need. In a year of chaos and controversy, the Golden Door has now planned to stay open all year to provide its personalized fitness and pampering spa services.

Guests enjoys 600-acres of hiking trails amidst woods, mountains, bamboo forests and gardens; private lodging; dozens of classes to rejuvenate mind and body; farm-to-table cuisine; and customized massages and other spa treatments. These December five-day programs are available at an exclusive rate of $6000 per person.
