Heathrow launches the UK’s first Airport Salon

The Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar is now offering blow-dries in 15 minutes – tapping into the trend for treatments on-demand.

Celebrity hairdresser Bradley Smith has launched  the UK's first airport salon inside Heathrow Terminal 5. The stylist, won the prestigious three-year contract after a competitive pitch process against high profile brands.

The Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar is now offering blow-dries in 15 minutes – tapping into the trend for treatments on-demand.

The salon will offer a walk-in service but appointments can also be made via the Bradley Smith website so clients can sit down as soon as they arrive in the UK. Bradley Smith, said: “This is all about giving customers what they need when they land at Heathrow."

The Bradley Smith Hair Express Bar, will be located in the arrivals hall opposite Heathrow Express, will also offer manicures, threading and massage services as well as men’s cuts in just seven minutes.

Heathrow’s Retail and Service Proposition Director Chris Annetts said: “We are delighted to welcome Bradley Smith’s Express Bar to Terminal 5 arrivals.  With so many of our passengers heading straight from the airport to the office or an event in London, this new bar will be the perfect way of ensuring they feel refreshed and look their best.” 

Bradley Smith is a celebrity hairdresser and stylist. Born in Wandsworth, Smith founded Bradley Smith Hair in 2010 and was appointed a member of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing in 2015.

Smith’s clients include Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and Grammy-Award Nominated Artist Craig David. Smith has salons across West London, including Strawberry Hill and most recently at Heathrow Terminal 5 (Bradley Smith Hair Express).
