Prominent aviation and travel industry Doyen brings 20 years of experience to expanding US Office.
DAYTONA BEACH, FL – Hunt & Palmer announced that Karen Farquharson has been named Director of Business Development. Karen joins to build upon the success of Hunt & Palmer’s US operations and to enhance the company’s penetration in the group air charter markets in the Americas and Caribbean.

Karen brings over 20 years of charter airline experience including her most recent role in senior management with XTRA Airways. After a successful career in retail management, Karen joined Miami Air International initially as a Flight Attendant and Purser before being promoted to senior VIP In-Flight Coordinator handling some of the airline’s most high profile and demanding clientele. She was then tapped to become the global face of Miami Air, serving as Marketing Manager and representing the company globally. During her airline career Karen gained expertise in every facet of airline operations, sales, marketing and product delivery.
Farquharson is also renowned within the travel industry as an advocate and leader having long been an active participant of FICP, MPI and many prestigious industry associations. She is a Past-President of Site (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) Florida & Caribbean chapter.
Karen will develop new group charter business and will represent Hunt & Palmer at industry trade shows and events throughout the Americas and Caribbean.
