IAVRA.com: The reliable B2B vacation rental platform for agents

Created by business professionals with backgrounds in marketing, banking, and travel, the concept of IAVRA was born out of frustration with the current lack of transparency and efficiency in the vacation rental industry.

IAVRA.com is a one-stop shop for travel professionals who want a transparent and cost-effective way to take advantage of the $100 billion vacation rental market. It is a b2b vacation rental platform that connects international travel agents with the best property management companies worldwide. The unique, closed platform gives subscribers access to a growing portfolio of 4,000+ villas, city apartments, chalets, lodges, cottages etc for rent across 52 countries.

Premium site features and tools help to differentiate IAVRA from your typical listing site: detailed property listings, agent branded e-brochures, pre-negotiated guaranteed minimum 10% commission, and marketing tools to help agents promote vacation rentals to their clients. IAVRA does not get involved in the transaction process. Travel agents can contact and work directly with the property managers from the get-go. Rather than split commissions 3-ways, travel agents pay a nominal 12-month subscription fee that is covered by an average 1-week’s booking. Pricing is more transparent and agents can offer competitive rates to their clients that haven’t been inflated by middle agents.

Since its launch at ILTM Cannes December 2011, IAVRA has signed on many of the leading travel agents internationally including Tzell Travel Group, Quintessentially, Original Travel, Protravel International, The Travel Attache, MITS. The current subscriber base consists of 260+ Travel Agents/Concierge Companies/Travel Providers (600+ users) from 47 countries, and 150+ Property Agents (4100+ properties). Rather than aggregate content from just a few, large property suppliers based remotely, wherever possible IAVRA selects local property agents with smaller portfolios to ensure that the agents are in direct contact with the owners of every property listed on IAVRA. IAVRA agents really know their properties and can offer the expertise and customer support and service expected of an agent.

As IAVRA Founding Partner JC Moquette explains, “The market is flooded with C2C listing sites and aggregated rental property platforms that are more interested in competing for the title of ‘most properties online’, with little concern for providing standard practices and monitoring professionalism and product consistency across the network. We believe in quality over quantity and in ensuring that the rental process is transparent, so that agents can safely and confidently deliver vacation rentals to their clients.”

Created by business professionals with backgrounds in marketing, banking, and travel, the concept of IAVRA was born out of frustration with the current lack of transparency and efficiency in the vacation rental industry. On the market, Partner Sybil Napolitano adds: “Finding the perfect holiday rental property can be difficult, as the marketplace is saturated, unregulated and there is no guarantee of quality when it comes to the company or the property. IAVRA provides tools to make the process easy for travel agents and property agents, allowing them to network internationally on a trusted platform. It aims to simplify and facilitate the vacation rental process from enquiry to close of sale.”
