ILTM North America – the 7th annual leading business platform for North America’s leading luxury travel agents

An exclusive invitation only event for Mexico and North America’s most productive luxury travel agents and buyers to meet with leading global luxury travel suppliers.

With North America continuing to be one of the world’s fastest growing luxury travel regions – a growth set to continue until at least 2025 – ILTM North America (24–27 September) will bring 330 discerning travel buyers (70% new faces to the show) from Mexico, Canada and the United States to meet with global luxury travel brands in bespoke, pre-arranged, one-to-one business generating meetings.

With the ongoing maturity of the Mexican upper middle class, Mexican buyers from ILTM networks report that their clients are now looking to explore newly identified countries including New Zealand, Thailand, Israel and the United Arab Emirates, as well as traditional choices such as United States, Canada and Europe. In addition, a recent report by Virtuoso® reveals that Mexican families are increasingly looking to travel together, discovering experiences that will create lasting memories and form closer bonds, often in unusual destinations.

ILTM North America will profile high end gastronomic, adventure and sport experiences, as well as luxury hotel properties and private resorts from across the world to meet the demand from both established and new buyers to the event. One of seven shows in the ILTM Collection of events (the others are held in Latin America, China, Arabia, Africa, Singapore and the key global event in Cannes, France,) each seeks to build business and business opportunities and relationships across the world of luxury travel.

The organizers of ILTM North America are overwhelmed with the interest of participation of repeat suppliers and new ones from many unusual destinations – once again, 330 in total.  They seek to expand their markets, to promote their products, make new contacts or achieve business closure. Destinations taking part in ILTM North America include Bhutan, Nepal, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Tibet, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan and the Maldives as well as the Caribbean, Middle East, Portugal, Italy and Fiji.

Other exhibitors include Amanresorts, Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris, Privé Jets, Silversea Cruises, Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, OneandOnly Resorts, Minor Hotel Group, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Simon Mayle, Director of ILTM North America comments: “Access to exclusive as well as personalised experiences is an important factor in the travelling decisions of today’s luxury consumers and this is particularly the case for North American travellers. ILTM North America will once again be an essential platform for the world’s most fascinating travel destinations and experiences with the highest levels of service to meet with the most productive and savvy buyers from across North America. We are here to build opportunities, connections and loyalty for all our guests.”
