Indie Campers expands to the US and becomes the 1st cross-continental road trip provider in the US and Europe

Indie Campers have arrived in Los Angeles and plan to expand to several new locations with more than 300 units to its fleet over the next few months.

Indie Campers, Europe's road trip provider, is now entering the US market with a massive expansion plan over the next three years. The company will add over 300 units just to its fleet in the next months, to accommodate the growing trend of campervanning in the US.

Our goal is to have a strong presence across the most relevant states for RV rental. The priority is to start a strong operation in major states where road trips are common, explains Hugo Oliveira, Indie Campers’ CEO. “We expect the US to become our main market by 2023”, he adds.

Apart from its current fleet, which will include Jeeps with rooftop tents, perfect for any type of camping, Indie Campers will also provide state-of-the-art class B RVs to its North American expansion. They will also expand their marketplace, allowing American RV owners to rent out their vehicles on Indie Campers platform when not in use

We want to bring some additional unique propositions for the US consumers, vehicles that are perfect for younger generations to get a new outlook on traveling in a campervan”, states Oliveira, underlining that “We already have a unique offer available in LA, consisting of 4×4 Jeep Campers with rooftop tents, but there’s much more to unveil in the upcoming months”.

This one-size-fits-all approach to campervans will allow customers the capability to visit cities without having to worry about parking and height restrictions, and still have the power to take on mountain roads. These high-quality custom-built campervans are designed specifically for the young and adventurers that recently have gained an increased appetite for the outdoors and freedom of vanlife.

Their Los Angeles depot is the perfect starting point and takes advantage of what the golden state has to offer up and down the coast on a Pacific Coast Highway road trip. There are also plenty of outstanding camping destinations in California.

The company is right now looking for the best partners in the US, such as insurance companies, vehicle manufacturers, to potentiate its strong and fast growth.

Indie Campers' Rocky model can now be rented in Los Angeles, with prices starting at 39$ per night in November and December. The company only has a few available vehicles left for Thanksgiving weekend.
