Prior to this, she worked at American Airlines, where she held a variety of leadership roles in the Commercial Organisation and had responsibility for different sales segments and markets within the EMEA region.

At Infare, Gassert will lead the European sales team and steer sales and account management for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Based at the company’s Berlin office, she will report to Chief Commercial Officer Harald Eisenaecher.

Gassert adds: “What attracted me to Infare was the array of pricing intelligence products it offers, serving not only airlines, but also airports, travel agents and wider travel businesses. Pricing intelligence is a key component of the success the travel industry has accomplished in recent years. It is essential in making airfare data informative and actionable, leading to competitive fares for air passengers and business growth for travel providers.
