The Jordan Tourism Board is excited to announce that it will be sponsoring The Telegraph Adventure Travel Show on January 26 and 27 2013. This consumer event, which takes place at London Olympia, is packed with inspirational travel advice from the experts, explorers, tour leaders and writers who will help visitors discover their perfect adventure.
It is also a chance for travellers to immerse themselves in a whole weekend of adventure travel and uncover a world of extraordinary travel experiences.
The sponsorship is part of Jordan Tourism Board’s 2013 plan to promote the destination as an adventure travel hotspot. The event will highlight the many opportunities to soak up natural marvels and dramatic cultural attractions across Jordan, from the silent drama of Wadi Rum, the forested hills of central Jordan, and the plunging Jordan Rift Valley including the Dead Sea, which is the lowest point on earth at 410m below sea level.
Jordan offers activities for every type of adventure traveller, including hiking, climbing and swimming through the magnificent gorge of Wadi Mujib, exploring Wadi Rum and Petra from the air in a micro light or hot air balloon and even horseback riding on the ancient spice, silk, and frankincense routes that pass through the green hills of Petra, Amman, and north Jordan.
