LOS ANGELES – Jurny, Inc., a hospitality tech company powering operations and modern guest experiences for some of the world’s most exceptional independent hotel brands, vacation and short-term rental (STR) properties, announced the appointment of Jose Ventura as Head of Expansion for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
A hospitality and real estate industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles, Ventura brings expertise in hotel development, international business, feasibility and asset management across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific regions. He also has a proven track record of acquisition and portfolio growth with leading global brands. Previously, Ventura held senior development positions at major companies like Preferred Hotel Group, Interval International, Ritz Carlton and Marriott.
“I am delighted to bring my years of strategic business development experience to the Jurny team in my new role as Head of Expansion for the EMEA market,” said Ventura. “Jurny has a strong value proposition with an unrivaled offering. During this critical time for the industry, the company has continued to grow in the North American market with an enviable pipeline. As we look to 2022 and beyond, I look forward to introducing the company’s latest offerings designed to support the needs of a stagnated hotel market with key profitability solutions to the EMEA region.”
“Jurny has achieved tremendous success with its hotel partners during the pandemic, growing 400% during the period, largely in part to our talented team,” said Angel Redondo, vice president of development at Jurny. “I am thrilled to welcome Jose to further strengthen our development team in the region. Hotel partner profitability and growth remain a key priority for the group, and Jose brings a unique understanding of the market that is essential as we look for new partnerships in the EMEA region to expand our portfolio.”
The company’s latest offering, Jurny Virtual, is an industry-first that provides hotel owners and property managers with a comprehensive solution to automate and streamline operations. In addition to the tech stack, Jurny provides additional services like 24/7 inquiry support and virtual concierge, access control, guest screening, review management, accounting and more – all easily accessible for owners in a single location to manage their entire operations.
"Jurny's innovative hospitality model has positioned the company for exponential international growth, and Jose will play a vital role in bringing both efficiency and experience to our international property developments," said David Phillips, co-founder and president of Jurny. "Our technology solutions have delivered proven results for partners by modernizing operations with remote check-in services, keyless entry, virtual concierge services and more. As we look to grow globally, we envision Jurny to be the partner of choice to well-discerned owners and travelers.”
