JW Marriott San Antonio welcomes new Resort Manager

David Cronin joins the resort as Resort Manager bringing over 25 years of experience to the role.

SAN ANTONIO – JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa introduce David Cronin as the resort’s new Resort Manager. Cronin joins the resort with over 25 years of experience working with luxury lifestyle brands across the globe. He joins JW Marriott San Antonio from his previous position as general manager of W Nashville and has held multiple general manager positions at hotels throughout the United States.

As a General Manager David was successful merging his niche expertise and passion for luxury hotels with a unique blend of attentive yet playful service. David’s track record for successful management encompasses a broad cross-section of hospitality and F&B operations. His personal approach to hospitality and electrifying leadership style earned his properties a myriad of prestigious awards, ranging from The Global Leadership Award for Special Events to leadership and guest-focused accolades including Marriott Event Team of the Year, Global Event Leader of the Year, Most Improved Hotel in the Americas, and The General Manager Mustang Award for Outstanding Business Leadership. While in Minneapolis, the hotels received 2016 Luxury Hotel of the year award for Starwood Americas and Le Meridien Chambers voted best hotel in Minnesota by Travel & Leisure 2017. In 2018 W Scottsdale was awarded the Distinctive Luxury Hotel of the Year.

As Resort Manager for JW Marriott San Antonio, Cronin will lead the property’s operations, and develop and implement business strategies to meet and exceed the resort and brand’s goals while creating one-of-a-kind experiences and memories for guests.
