Lausanne Tourism & Convention Bureau announces that it will launch three new incentive packages in partnership with the Bejart Ballet, Welcome Swiss and Ovation at IBTM World in Barcelona on 29th November – 1st December 2016.

The new packages have been created as part of Switzerland Tourism & Convention Bureau’s national campaign based on art, architecture and culture and will officially launch at IBTM in Barcelona. Each incentive package can accommodate 10 to 500 people and will offer delegates the opportunity to visit a wide variety of the region’s cultural attractions.

The first package, created in partnership with Welcome Swiss, offers delegates the choice of four themes including: Lausanne through the Century; The Olympic Capital; Lausanne Artists; and Innovation and Design. The package includes a two-night stay in a four-star hotel, a gift on arrival and departure, breakfast, dinner in a local restaurant and all transportation.

The second package, in partnership with the Bejart Ballet, offers delegates exclusive access to tickets to the ballet before its official release, a backstage tour of the ballet and a private dining cocktail reception for a minimum of 20 delegates before the event. The third package, in partnership with Ovation, will offer delegates the opportunity to explore some of Lausanne region’s most famous sites, such as the Chaplin’s World Museum in Vevey, the Lavaux Vineyards and the historic old town.

Olivier Mathieu, Congress and Meetings Manager at Lausanne Tourism and Convention Bureau, says: “Our new incentive packages will provide delegates with the opportunity to visit some of Lausanne’s most famous sites, helping them to better understand Lausanne’s culture and historical background. The wide range of packages on offer strengthens Lausanne’s positioning as a great destination to host incentives and highlights the rich variety of attractions within the region.”
